Event Details
Visit our exhibits after hours, perform hands-on experiments and learn while you play as a family. In each session, your family will travel between stations focusing on a different science topic. You can make memories with your little one all while learning and doing science.
April 28: Rolling Along!
Roll, roll, roll your car, quickly down the ramp! Work with your family to race marbles down a track, build a mini roller coaster and measure the speed of a car on a slope. Experiment with how the slope of a ramp affects how fast a car will go, and make your own marble run out of recycled materials to take home. Wheels, inclined planes and axles will play a big role in a fun evening of the science of construction.
Details:
- Ages: Youth in grades K-5 with an adult*
- Time: 5:30-8:30 p.m.
- Cost per adult and child pair: $35, or $30 for Members
*Youth not in grades K-5 are welcome. Youth under age 3 are free.
