Event Details
WOF is a weekend long celebration of non-traditional skaters, culminating in a contest Sunday afternoon that features competitors from all over the world, with categories from ages 12 and under to 30 plus. It’s also featured some of the world’s best professional female-identified competitors, including current SLS Super Crown World Champion, Lacey Baker, and has become a "must-attend" event on the calendar of she-redders globally. While the contest is a big focus, the weekend also includes a Friday night Welcome Party with a female skater art show, food, drinks and prizes, and a Saturday skate-themed Scavenger Hunt presented by The Skate Witches.
With a full weekend of activities, participants, sponsors, and spectators can find many ways to get involved and/or support! At a time when many in the Puget Sound Region are looking for ways to be civically active, make their voice heard, and support groups that have been historically marginalized or disadvantaged, Skate Like a Girl offers an uncommon approach to affect gender-inclusive, positive change in the lives of thousands.
