Join us for the 2nd Annual Gatsby's Beautiful Little Fools: A 1920's Party on the High Seas on Sat. July 27th. Attend this elegant and fun party aboard Seattle's premier floating venue; the HiYu - a retired WA State Ferry that has been meticulously renovated - complete with a Tiki Bar. THIS PARTY SOLD OUT IN 2018! THERE ARE ONLY 300 TICKETS AVAILABLE. So don't delay!
BOARDING:6:00-7:00pm, if you miss the boat...you're out of luck! Don't be tardy to the party!
We'll be boarding at MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry) 860 Terry Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109 - you'll see balloons leading your way to the boat. (DO NOT Google Maps "The HiYu" and go to where they are moored on Fairview Ave!!! Some attendees did this for another party and they missed the party.)
We'll be on the water, dancing, drinking and having the bees knees; from 7-10pm and will be back at the dock to disembark at 10:30pm.
ENTERTAINMENT:*Good Co Music- a 6 piece jazz/electric swing band (featuring horns, strings and vocals!) www.goodcomusic.com
*DJ Understanding - spinning high energy electro-Gatsby tunes for your dancing pleasure so you can shake your tailfeathers.
*Other performers TBD
TABLE RESERVATIONS: There are a limited number of bistro tables (seats 4) with chairs and linen, positioned closest to the band and dance area. Other than this, there will be very limited seating (a few picnic tables) at the party. Reserve 2 or 4 seats @$28 each. Note: If you reserve 2 seats, you will be seated with another couple - a great way to make new friends!
ATTIRE: This party harkens guests back to the roaring 1920s, therefore, guests are REQUIRED to dress in the styles of the era. Women wear a feather headpiece/fascinator, flapper dress, fur/fake fur, etc. and men wear dress slacks and shirt and vest, hat, or suit. No "street clothes" will be allowed (jeans, sportswear, t-shirt, sneakers (unless they go amazing with your 1920's garb). You can find inspiration here: Jay Gatsby's Facebook and Instagram page.
