Are you interested in a fun, focused, and rewarding weekend experience of starting or joining an EdTech business?

Startup Weekend EDU (SWEDU) Seattle is a world-class learning opportunity for individuals such as yourself. Connect with EdTech startup professionals and others of diverse skill-sets and experience levels. Learn and collaborate in agile teams to tackle hard problems. Build solutions, whether its launching tools, apps, schools, or learning spaces, you have an opportunity to solve challenging problems in education and reimagine the future of learning. Practice pitching to mentors and judges, get feedback, and recognized for your achievement.

Everyone is welcome, and no previous entrepreneurial experience is required! Educators, administrators, students, parents, coaches, counselors, designers, software developers, engineers, sales, marketing, and finance professionals.

We are waiving the attendance fee for this special edition of Startup Weekend. With this opportunity, you will want to commit to participating fully from Friday evening to Sunday evening, setting aside other obligations.

This event is made possible through the efforts of many dedicated volunteers and financial support of sponsors. We're here to connect you with diverse teams and teach startup tools and techniques to tackle big problems in education and the learning field.

About: Techstars Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Techstars Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education. Whether you are looking for feedback on an idea, a co-founder, specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute, Techstars Startup Week
