John Lander is a freelance photographer based near Kamakura, Japan with a passion for Japanese gardens, hot springs and colorful festivals. Credits include photos published by National Geographic, Travel+Leisure, Lonely Planet, Conde Naste Traveler, Rough Guides, TIME Magazine, Architectural Digest, Wall Street Journal, Vogue and Forbes. In recent years John has devoted his efforts to photo book essays including the newest book: World Heritage Japan.
